The Junior Graphic Designer must be knowledgeable about latest visual design tools and trends. This individual will work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer and be a resource to the Product Management Team. You will be asked to develop compelling visual designs that support a variety of Ambu's product innovations. The ideal candidate must be able to handle basic design tasks as well as a variety of office support projects for the Product Management Team.


Technical Skills

  • Knowledgeable with Adobe Products specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver
  • Proficient with Microsoft Products: Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Agile or the ability/interest in learning program.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Demonstrate ability to quickly learn the healthcare industry.


  • Applying visual design to generate branded deliverables and marketing collateral.
  • Updates current design templates and presentations in accordance with Ambu's brand guidelines.
  • Ability to collaborate internally and externally to achieve results in a teamwork environment
  • Coordinates and implements work and projects as assigned.
  • Excellent project coordination skills, with ability to independently manage multiple projects
  • Manages the design process from concept through to execution and production.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Updates and provides information to supervisor and co-workers by telephone, written form, e-mail, or in person in a timely manner.
  • Attends team meetings and provide relevant updates.
  • Presents ideas, expectations and information in a concise, organized manner.
  • Uses problem solving, decision-making and follow up on all projects.

  • Performs well level under pressure or when experiencing changes or challenges in the workplace.
  • Manages time effectively.



  • Bachelors of Arts in Graphic Design or Marketing
  • 1+ years of design and/or graphic support experience
  • Strong ability to multi-task and take a lead on small projects when necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects within tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within an office atmosphere.
  • Effective time management, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Display a strong portfolio of work in both digital and print.
  • Previous work in healthcare spectrum is a plus.
