POSITION SUMMARY:  Monitor and troubleshoot various operations on an automated production line. 



  • Monitor various line and equipment functions utilizing various computer interfaces and visual observation
  • Perform change over, teardown, and set-up tasks
  • Perform inspection and planned preventive maintenance tasks
  • Perform, monitor, and document wastewater and lift station properties
  • Respond to breakdown and repeat failure issues
  • Assist with chemical blending, addition, and monitoring
  • Perform lab testing functions on blends and mixes
  • Manage and control production line tooling
  • Insure a safe work environment is maintained and equipment is operating safely
  • Perform the duties of the Team Lead, as needed
  • Complete documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards (i.e. Medical Device Directive (MDD), QSR, CMDR, ISO 13485, JPAL, production and corporate standards)
  • Assist in initiating NCRs impacting the disposition of any component, process or method that does not meet production standards
  • Perform all repair work in compliance with LOTO procedures
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and other departments to implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Job tasks as assigned


  • Utilize standard mechanical, laboratory, and process monitoring equipment/tools
  • Performing physical bending, lifting, crawling, climbing, and stooping
  • Standing and walking for long periods
  • Understand and follow written instructions
  • Perform work in elevated locations
  • Lifting requirements of up to 50 pounds
  • Work in varying temperatures
  • Ability to document work performed and enter data into designated systems
  • Ability to identify the root cause of a problem by observation and/or discussion with internal customers



  • Resolve equipment and/or process related problems minimizing production down time
  • Complete preventive maintenance paper work on time and consistent with instructions
  • Maintain a professional, helpful attitude during interactions with co-workers and organizational leaders
  • Demonstrates teamwork within work cell
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Provide accurate, legible, and complete documentation
  • Ability to work under limited supervision



  • Associates degree in related field and 1 year experience or a High School Diploma (or GED) with 5 years experience in a related industrial environment required
  • Previous experience in industries utilizing mixes, blends, or formulations (examples:  Food, Pharmaceutical, Plastics, Chemical, Beverage, or Paint/Powder coating) preferred
  • Knowledge of tools, measuring instruments, and mechanical equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to contribute constructively in a team environment
  • Excellent demonstrated math aptitude/skill required
  • Experience utilizing computer interfaces, alarms, data entry, etc.
  • Intermediate skill proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Previous wastewater monitoring experience preferred
  • Previous experience in coaching and leading work groups
