Position Summary

The Market Development Manager (MDM) will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic initiatives for Ambu's Visualization - GI division. Through direct engagement with key stakeholders in the most prominent US Interventional GI facilities, the MDM will be required to move market development objectives forward to build Ambu as the leader in single-use Endoscopy in the GI space. Additionally, MDM's will collaborate across internal teams on marketing initiatives with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in an assigned region. Ultimately, through training, market intelligence, education, and product development the MDM will aid in expanding Ambu's footprint into the GI space.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategic initiatives for Ambu's single use endoscope
  • Identify and develop KOLs to advance Ambu GI line of products
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure messaging to key accounts and stakeholders is consistent
  • Develop and manage training as well as research projects with key physicians in Academic Medical Centers and large Community Hospitals
  • Create and foster Ambu's strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in large US Interventional GI institutions, specifically within Gastroenterology, Infection Prevention, Central/Sterile Supply, Nursing Management, Supply Chain, and Hospital Administration departments.
  • Aid in the development and creation of market acceptance for new GI single use technologies
  • Ability to travel up to 75% - overnight travel expected



  • Bachelor's degree, preferred Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in GI Endoscopy
  • Market Development experience, preferred
  • Interventional Gastroenterology market knowledge, preferred
  • Customer-facing experience with Interventional Gastroenterologists, required
  • Proficient in stakeholder managment
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally within a commercial organization
